From the Fiumicino airport (FCO)
Distance: about 18 miles - Average travel time: 40–50 minutes.
Transportation options:
- Leonardo Express train → direct to Roma Termini (about 32 minutes).
- From Termini take subway line A (direction Battistini) and get off at Barberini (2 stops). The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the stop.
- Taxi or private shuttle → rate set by city hall about €55. It will take you straight to the hotel.
- Shared airport shuttle → available upon reservation (45–60 minutes, approximate cost €15–20).
From the Ciampino airport (CIA)
Distance: about 10.5 miles - Average travel time: 35–45 minutes.
Transportation options:
- Shuttle bus (Terravision, SitBus or FlixBus) to the Termini train station. Next, follow the directions above (Subway A to Barberini + 5-minute walk).
- Taxi or private shuttle → rate set by city hall about €40 for downtown Rome.
Distance: about 0.93 miles - Average travel time: 10–15 minutes
Transportation options:
- By subway: A line (towards Battistini) Barberini stop. From Piazza Barberini, head to the corner with Via del Tritone and turn into Via degli Avignonesi (the hotel is at number 36/A).
- By taxi: short ride about €10-15.
- On foot: a picturesque 20-minute stroll through Via Nazionale, Via delle Quattro Fontane, and Piazza Barberini.
